Sounds crazy right? Think again young Skywalker. The only crazy part about this plan is finding the time to play cards.
Tonight, I'm hanging out with a friend. Tomorrow, I'm playing in a "Draft Day" poker tournament that starts at noon.
This is probably my best shot. I don't even know the guys that I'm playing with, so I will have no sympathy towards knocking them out and taking their money. Basically, I play basketball at lunch time with the guy hosting it. I torch him in hoop, so why not poker? Funny thing is, yesterday when we're at the gym talking about it, another guy walks by and says (about the host) "don't play with him, he's a shark!" Yeah, we'll see. He says that there will be around 25 people @ $50 each, which means the prize pool should be approximately $1250. But there's a catch, for every five people that enter, someone gets paid. So if there's 25 people, five will get paid and I believe the winner only gets like 60% ($750). I can live with that. That will leave me with $250 to win at the casino on either Saturday night or Sunday. But I have a baseball game Sunday and some wine tasting extravaganza on Saturday night. I hate wine, but apparently there are fine women at wine tasting extravaganzas. I wouldn't know.
Also, I would say 50% of the guys/girls will be getting hammered as they are getting a keg and beers, not to mention I plan on cleaning up on the craps game that will inevitably start up in the backyard. Can you spell $?
I'm a little cocky and you can never account for horrible players, but I'm going to stay risk-free and just smash people. If I get big stack early on, it's a wrap! Anyways, by the looks of this, I will definitely win this thing. I'm putting myself as the favorite, and I have no idea who is playing.
