Downtime

I'm here, 1026pm Saturday night, waiting to go to the movies. We're going to see "Wanted" @ 1215am so hopefully it's worth it. The plan is to bob marley, then hit cheesecake factory for a quick dinner and then hit the movie. I have a feeling that Cheesecake Factory will be cut out of that equation due to the bob marley.

Played last night. I donked off $400 on the $200 game in about 12 minutes. First I raised from early position with 4d5d (I know what "anonymous" is going to say, lol), flopped two diamonds and continuation bet with two callers. The turn gave me some sort of sorry straight draw, so I decided to go all-in as both callers seemed weak. The first guy calls, then the second guy goes all-in over the top and he's working with top pair and the diamond draw so I'm drawing damn near dead to the three-outer on the gut shot and I miss, obviously.

Next hand I make two pair and the other guy makes his straight so I move to the $400 table and make it back.

Last night was Tweezy's birthday and all the fellas were quite inebriated with a nice Jack in the Crack breakfast at 3 a.m. Faded T was beyond faded and Corner Sleeper managed to stay awake (as long as you don't count the couch during pre-game ceremonies).

The Asian league started back up today and woooo am I out of shape. Damn I was ugly out there, I think I shot 5-37 and 0-11 from three. For some reason I really play down to the competition in that league and it's hurting my game. I've never played so horribly as I do in that league and in turn I've never played against such terrible players. It definitely has to do with not being excited for the games at all or feeling like I have to put forth much effort. Somehow I'm going to need to step it up if my team is going to win any games.

It's hot as fuck in L.A. still and my apartment has no A/c so it gets nice and toasty in here, which makes for a quick sweat anytime I spend more than five minutes inside the apartment. Hopefully Rza (my bearded dragon) is enjoying the weather.

I just finished watching the Angels vs. Dodgers game. If anyone ever thinks they run bad, just remember this game. Jared Weaver and some fool name Arreondo or something, combined to no-hit the Dodgers and still lost 1-0. That's running bad.

Right now I'm e-railing the HORSE tournament, which is currently down to 13 players. Obviously I'm pulling for Phil to win this, he's in 12th and somewhat short-stacked. Win this shit!

pe@ce.
