I went straight to HP after work Friday to eat dinner there before I went to the movies. I ended up winning a little over $100 in a little over an hour so I was happy with that.
Then I went to see "88 Minutes" with Al Pacino, which was okay. When I first saw a preview for it, I thought it was gonna be dope. Then I read a review that said it wasn't good so I wasn't expecting much and it was actually a little better than I thought it would be. I just have trouble falling in love with these movies because there is so much shit in the movie that is retardedly unrealistic.
After the movie we smoked and I fell asleep, then drove home at 5 a.m. and just slept in my car until 8:30 a.m. That was cool.
Saturday morning I woke up and went to HP. I'm trying to get in as many sessions as I can right now so I knew I had to take care of it early cuz my day was gonna be busy. So I went at like 10:30 and played until 1p, making like $ four and some change. I didn't really want to leave because some fool was talking shit to me and told me what his reads on me were. He said when I'm still, I'm bluffing and when I'm shaking I have the goods. In this instance, I had went all-in on the turn after he called my $100 bet on the flop. He thought and talked shit for a few minutes before folding and telling me that he folded the winning hand but was leaving in 20 minutes so he didn't want to risk calling the bet. Brilliant! So I was sad to leave his table. Hopefully I'll see his candy ass again.
After that I had to head to Pasadena for two basketball games at 2 and 4. I was late to the first game but we somehow managed to get our first W (1-4). I didn't really do shit the first game and in the second game we won in a blowout and I had 20 pts. and 11 rebs., but I did manage to put up 17 shots. My shooting % is atrocious this year.
After the game I went to dinner with some family and then went out with Corner Sleeper and Faded T. First we went to Bridges, which Trek Life was hosting. Always a good vibe at his spots and we managed to bring 420 in at midnight.
Sunday I was back at the park (HP) by noon and played until 8 pm for like +$510. That night I saw "Forgetting Sarah Marshall," which was pretty funny but there were some awkward scenes where they for some reason decided to show dude's "d". I'm not sure why they did this, but they could have at least made it in an all-nude scene with the chicks or something.
I'm doing my best not to trick this money off (shoes, going out, clothes, etc.).
