New Poker Plan

Aight Doom Switch, middle finger you, beeitch.

Yes, I am the first to tell you that I'm getting crushed this month.

I'm losing when I'm the favorite and I'm losing when I'm trying to catch and when you combine that with the fact that I'm not on top of my game, it's quite the killer combination.

So I'm going to take a step back and start fresh.

We'll see if I have the discipline (I would personally bet against myself on this one) to do this but I'm going to start back at $2/4 limit.

Yes, with the donkeys, the fish, the chasers, the morons, the rookies, the river rats. And me.

But here's the catch: if I can reel off three winning sessions in a row, I move up a level.

There's no time limit or minimum win, but I can't show up, win one hand and leave. I'm a poker player so I wouldn't do that anyways.

Here's the levels I'll be moving from:

$2/4 Limit
$3/6 Limit
$4/8 Limit
$6/12 Limit
$40 No Limit ($1/2 blinds)
$100 No Limit ($2/3 blinds)
$200 No Limit ($3/5 blinds)
$15/30 Limit
$400 No Limit ($5/10 blinds)

I'm not sure when I'll start but it's going to be interesting.

Yeeeeee!

maybe you should just scratch the limit games.

That's ambitious, Kev. It might just be cheaper for you to stake me in a tourney and pray I provide some return on your investment. lol.

CS - Yeah, I would say at least two hours.

P4L - That's an intriguing bet. Hmm. Can we make it three hours? I know the hardest levels are going to be 2/4 limit and $40 no limit.

Have you ever read up on sports motivational theory? A lot of the theory has to do with setting goals: short term and longer term. You seem to be on track with setting goals but it might make sense for you to read up on the theory. I have a good PDF on the subject. let me know if you want it.
