Friday night I went and was up $632 when I left because my table broke. In retrospect I'm probably lucky that the table broke or I would probably have given it all back based on my play last night. Anyways that was a solid session. I'm so flustered from last night that I don't really remember any hands from that night.
I went back Sunday and just played like dog shit. I was calling raises with horrible hands like 8-9 off suit out of position and all type of wild shit like that. Then I made a play on a guy for my whole stack with 7c6c. The flop was ace high with one club. I put him on a mid-pocket pair and raised him on the flop. He called then I put him all in on the turn and he reluctantly called with a-9. He probably wouldn't have been so reluctant if he knew I had 7 high and was drawing dead. So that just about sums up Sunday's action.
The hard day for me to digest was last night. I got to the casino and sat down at a super-tight table where I lost about $300 and requested a table change. I made it to the other table and at this point I'm in for about five notes. Not long after I sit down at my new table I win a huge pot with a backdoor flush with KcJc. I actually had two overs and a gut-shot and made the runner-runner flush, which was nice and almost a triple up.
Then, against the same guy I'm in the big blind with 3d6d. He raises to $25 and gets two callers. I call for the extra $20 and the flop comes KdTd7d. Great flop for me as someone undoubtedly has the king. The original raiser bets $75 and everyone folds to me. I raise him to $200 and he moves all-in for about $300 more. At this point our stacks were about the same. I reluctantly called putting him on AdKx. No more diamonds came and the board didn't pair and he mucked 77 for a flopped set. Sweet. Now I'm at $1200, which I worked up to a little over $1300.
This is when things went to hell. There's this real suspect/flamboyant/over-the-top French guy who has been playing a lot. He's pretty horrible. He unknowingly called on the button as the only caller (blinds could have chopped) and I have KQ in the big blind. With both of us in the hand I wanted to get his money. So I raised to $35 and he called. The flop comes AJx and I check. He bets $55 and I call. The turn is nothing and I check. He checks. The river is nothing and I bet $100 and he goes all-in for $120 more. I muck and he laughs in my face without showing his cards.
My next shitty hand I have KK on the button. Four callers to me and I raise to $35. The big blind calls as do two others. The flop comes 4-6-7 with two spades. The big blind leads out for $45 and he has $150 behind. I know it's going to go all-in at some point so I just put him all-in. I thought he had either the 7, a middle pocket pair like 99 or TT, or he was defensive-betting the flush draw. I was wrong. He insta-calls me with 3-5 and after the turn I'm drawing dead with my kings.
Next hand I flop top pair with a weak kicker (J-9), board is J-3-6 with two spades. I had raised pre-flop and gotten about four callers. I bet $75 on the flop when everyone checked to me on the button. One player moves all-in and I make one of the worst calls of my life. He had 33 for the set.
The hand that sent me home was KQ in a five-way raised pot. The flop comes Q-2-x. I bet $100 on the flop and the bb calls me. On the turn he puts in $150 (I have about $190 behind at this point) and I move it all-in. He tables Q-2 and I'm ghost.
I haven't felt as bad as I did about my play last night in a long time. I really sucked it up and it's pretty disheartening to know that I am giving chips up that easily. I need to go back to the drawing board and get my game right.
Here's a look at my numbers the past two months. Overall not bad but with the way I spend money (most recently $700 to the city of L.A. for my insurance ticket) these losing streaks hurt me:

Man, I had a similar kings play on friday at Wheeling Island. Pocket cowboys, I raised pre-flop to $15 (tight 1-2 table); flop came s-K-s, I slow-played and checked (1st mistake). Guy in 8th or 9th position bet out, I called. Turn was x, I bet out another $20 (2nd mistake--should've pushed) or so, he called. River was a spade, he bet about $40, I pushed (3rd mistake; I didn't have much more than $40 left, though), and he called with the spade flush. Phant and my buddy were sitting there looking at me like "wtf is wrong with you?" lol.
That sucks but I know the feeling all too well. Too bad the spade didn't pair the board.
