So I put $50 back on Full Tilt and I've done well the past two nights. Two nights ago I won a $5 four-person shootout for $20 and an 18-person sit n go ($5 entry) for $36.
What? What'd you say jabroni? You don't believe me? You don't think I can take down a four man shoot out and an 18 man tourney at the $5 level? This is what I say:

Sucker.
Tonight I played the "Midnight Madness" tournament, which is a $10 buy-in 15k guaranteed tournament for $11. I finished 87th for $24 and change.
But the best part is that Michael Craig cracked my aces. Well, at least I folded them to him. Here's how it went down:
I raised like 4x the big blind in middle position. Craig is the only caller on the button. He's playing pretty tight so I think he has a hand. I mean come on, I'm sure he's heard about me and how good I am so I doubt he would call me with napkins. The flop comes QJx with two clubs. I bet the pot and he calls. The turn is the king of clubs, I check and he shoves. I fold and berate him:

Michael Craig: tough laydown.

I had a screen shot of my pocket aces and the board and his bet but me being the genius that I am, I copied the chat box and lost the screen shot. Brilliant!
For anyone that doesn't know, Michael Craig wrote a great book about high stakes poker called "The Professor, The Banker, and The Suicide King" that I highly recommend. I've read three books in the last five years and this is one of them. Now he's like the resident blogger/donk for Full Tilt. Just kidding, I don't know if he's a donk.
Oh yeah, I also ran into Phil Gordon at a table. While everyone was giving him online BJ's, I came at him with a tough question:
Of course, he ignored it and answered every other question like "Ohh Phil how are you so good?" etc. I'm not a fan.
If you don't know, the reason I asked what's up with him and Lindgren is because apparently Eric Lindgren thinks he's a biatch and clowned him in this youtube clip (I love it). Just start paying attention at 3:26. The very last line is classic. I guess the reason why Lindgren doesn't like Gordon is that Gordon was saying he thinks Lindgren is overrated and not a good player.
Alright that's my Full Tilt post for the year, hope it was enjoyable.
Oh yeah, my account went from $50 to $109 in the two nights I've played (three entries of $5, $5 and $11). I'm happy with that. I'm really trying to discipline myself and play tough on the low stakes. So far so good but as I know so well I love to tilt online.
Here's how I ended up losing in the tournament, as described by me to Corner Sleeper on AIM. I finished 87th out of 1558 (Craig was 10th out of 44 when I stopped paying attention), which I'm happy with because believe it or not this is the biggest tournament I've ever played in. I'm not much of a tournament player but I'm working on it. I watch ESPN, I know how it's done...
