Day 21: Misclick Cost Me $100 Fugging Dollars

***Good luck to anyone/everyone that is participating in the WSOP Main Event, which starts today***

Yesterday I decided not to go play anywhere but I did go home and play a $22 sit 'n go on Full Tilt. This was probably a bad idea. I was pretty tired and also had smoked a little Acapulco Gold but I was in the mood to win. So right away I was hitting for some big pots and ran my stack up to like 5k when the average was probably only about 2k at most. I kept it there and then....... fell asleep in my bed. Yeah, I was out cold. I guess Corner Sleeper is rubbing off on me.

I woke up about five or ten minutes later (actually, I have no fucking clue how long I was asleep) and much to my surprise we were four-handed and I was in the big blind with KJ. I played the hand and got my stack up to 5500 and drifted off again only to wake up and see that we were three-handed and I had QQ on the button. The short stack moved in and I called and won, so now it's down to two. Against my will, I decided to force myself to stay awake for head's up play.

I made some good calls head's up with bottom pairs and won the match in about six hands. I really don't even remember much from the sit n go. Despite the appearance, I wasn't drunk, just falling asleep constantly. But I took it down for a $90 profit.

Unfortunately I soon paid the price for my lack of concentration. I should have just taken the win and gone to sleep but instead I put $100 into a $1/2 cash game. My first hand I'm dealt AQ in late position, having already posted $2. I was attempting to raise to $8 and I'm not sure what happened but I ended up raising to $80. Fuck! Well, I'm sure everyone will fold to that. Wrong. The button insta-shoves his $74 stack in with jacks. He didn't even think about it. So I was happy to even have to over cards in this situation but I obviously bricked and got a plethora of "WFT"s from the table. I lost the remaining $26 and ended up down $30 on the day.

I fell asleep immediately after that without setting my alarm and woke up late for work. Thank that man that it's Friday. I guess on the good side this cute chick that works at Trader Joe's voluntarily gave me her number.

Her: "Hey I was just thinking about you the other day."
Me: "What? What were you thinking about?"
Her: "I haven't seen you in a while...where have you been?"
Me: "I've been here...uh...how's work?"
Her: "Busy."

Then she writes the number down on my receipt. I probably won't call her but it's always good to know that it can still happen.
