My guy CEO just got a new nickname

For anyone that reads the blog (yeah, some of you are staying in the closet...I checked the stats), you have seen my boy CEO referred to quite often in some of my weekend reports.

CEO (my best friend and roommate) has now officially become “Big Time” for a very legitimate reason.

In an extremely egotistical manner, Big Time uses this excuse for anything and everything:

Me: “Dog, are you gonna wash your dishes? That nasty shit on the plate is starting to stink.”
Big Time: “I’m too big time to wash dishes.”

Me: “Can you toss me the remote control?”
Big Time: “I’m too big time to toss remotes.”

Me: “Your girlfriend is banging on our front door, take your lazy ass and open it.”
Big Time: “I’m too big time to answer doors.”

Me: “Let’s watch the U.S. Open, Tiger is about to win it. I’m tired of watching Wild West, the worst movie ever.”
Big Time: “I’m too big time to watch golf.”

Me: “There’s no parking ANYWHERE. Just get valet.”
Big Time: “I’m too big time to get valet.”

Me: "We gotta get Mike and Caryn a wedding gift."
CEO: "I'm too big time to buy wedding gifts."

Me: “We’re going to a fancy restaurant; change your sweats to some jeans at least.”
Big Time: “I’m too big time for that. I can wear sweats.”

You get the picture. If there’s something he doesn’t want to do, it’s because he’s too big time to do it. So from this point forward, CEO will now be referred to as Big Time. It is Oh Fish Al.

Here’s the summer poker challenge update:

For the first time in the three days, I lost a buy-in. I actually lost two buy-ins. Lost my first $200, bought back in for $300, lost it. Bought back in for $200 and grinded, grinded, grinded my way back to $940 for a $240 profit. I got aces cracked two out of three times once by QQ that made a one-card flush and the other time by 7h8h for the flush. But I also cracked someone else's with TT when I flopped a set. I felt pretty defeated the whole time because I was in the hole but once I got a grasp on the players I was able to build some pots and make some moves to build back and net a profit. Three winning sessions in a row is very satisfying for me and I really do feel like the challenge not only with the online players but with myself is helping me play somewhat better.

Also, if people enjoy the pictures of my stack sizes/tables/etc., just leave a comment and let me know and I will continue to post them. Otherwise, I'm going to leave them off. Hope everyone had a good weekend. I was supposed to start my early morning workouts today but in typical Killa Kev fashion I got drunk by myself last night and hit the snooze button this morning from 5 A.M. to 8 A.M. every nine minutes.

Day one: +$570 (4 hours) (BR: $770)
Day two: +$629 (5 Hours) (BR: $1399)
Day three: +$240 (6 Hours) (BR: $1639)

Total Hours: 15
Total Profit: $1439
Hourly rate: $95.93

Damn, that is tight! That CEO guy sounds like he really is big time. He is so far ahead of his time. I want to be just like him!

Hey, Enjoy your blog, long time reader first time poster. In regards to the pictures that is the part that makes your blog more unique. It gives it "life" =)

Btw, you plan on doing this challenge how many times a week? And what hours of the day?

JD,

Thanks for the positive feedback, appreciate it (especially after the fullcontact bashing I got lol). I feel the same way about the pictures and that's why I'd been posting them although I need to get more creative than just chip stacks. It's kind of hard to take pictures without the table knowing.

As far as this challenge goes, I don't have a strict schedule. I'd like to play at least three times a week. Obviously on the weekends and if I can get there for a couple weeknights that would be ideal as well.

If I had to guess what days I would go it'd look like this:

Monday nights
Thursday nights
Friday nights
Saturdays
Possibly Sundays (have a lot of sports games)
